The pomposity of the feudal British monarchy was hilariously pierced in a recent ourt hearing in London when evidence was presented that Charles Windsor, meeting with fellow feudal ruler the Emir of Qatar, "pissed in his ear about how awful" he thought plans for a major property development not far from the Windsor clan's London head quaters.
Quatari Diar Real Estate Investments' British managing director denied he had made the statement in an email. The company is being sued for £81m by CPC, the upscale property development company owned by the Candy brothers.
The Quatari Company is financing the development of the Chelsea Barracks site. As a result of Mr. Windsorís protests, which included a letter to the ruler of feudal Quatar, the Candy brothersí plan for modern architecture was dropped, leading to the legal action..
Mr. Windsor had also written to the prime minister of Quatar asking him to intervene to stop the development. He even had another architect draw up an alternative development plans. The Quarari company was said to be unwilling to go against the wishes of the man who is to become Britian's next feudal head of state unless the feudal rulers of Quatar said so.
